About Emily K. Bua

Estate Specialist Emily K. Bua and Broker Associate Tade Bua-Bell of John R. Emily K. Bua has been in the real estate industry since 1977, including seven years as a regional manager for internationally recognized Coldwell Banker Real Estate. She has also managed two major U.S. corporate relocation departments, Westinghouse Electric Corp. and Mellon National Bank.  Emily holds a Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Political Science and History, as well as a Master's degree in Education, all from the University of Pittsburgh. Upon arriving in Naples in 1993, she quickly became, and has remained, one of Naples' leading luxury real estate agents.  She has provided dedicated service to clients in luxury communities throughout the area, from the beach and golf course to Port Royal and Bonita Bay.

Emily holds a GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) affiliation, a Realtor affiliation, and is a member of NABOR (Naples Area Board of Realtors).  She has also served on NABOR's Ethics Committee. She was the first recipient of the Glass Slipper Award given by Champions for Learning to outstanding women. She has been on the Boards of Naples Illustrated Magazine and The Von Liebig Arts Center of Naples.  Emily has also served as President of the Board of the United Way of Collier County, Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign for the Shelter for Abused Women and Children, and served on the Boards of the Learning Connection and The Education Foundation of Collier County.  Her commitment to giving back to the community is well-known and distinguished by her outstanding track record of community service.  Emily is the proud parent of four successful adult children and has six grandchildren.  Emily's knowledge, experience, professionalism, and strong negotiation skills set her apart from other agents.  While readily acknowledged as a top agent, many of her clients describe her as a person of great integrity, kindness, and loyalty.

Emily has continued to be very active in the community and the team donates to local charities on a regular basis. Some examples are our team’s commitment to Youth Haven, The Conservancy, Botanical Gardens, The Shelter for Abused Women, and Artis Naples to name a few.

Emily is proud to be working with her daughter Tade, a Mediterra resident for the past 17 years, and her son and daughter-in-law, Shane Bua & Taylor Meritt Bua who live in Lake Park. Emily has had personal experience living in the Estuary at Grey Oaks, Park Shore Beach, Old Naples, and now Pelican Bay.  So, we have a thorough and extensive knowledge of the entire Naples area.

In 2022 Emily received the John R Wood Lifetime achievement award. For the past two years Emily & Tade have been in the top 100 Business Leaders in Naples by Naples Illustrated Magazine, and this year we are proud members of the Christie’s Master Circle, a designation awarded to an elite group of top-performing agents within the Christie’s International Real Estate network.
